Well, the most famous drawing is, of course, poppies (Unikko).
This print was created in 1964, after Armi Ratia (the company's founder) stated that Marimekko would never make a floral print. And designer Maya Isola refused to obey the instructions of the leadership and, in protest, created a whole series of floral prints. Poppies of various colors, combinations and sizes to this day - the most recognizable picture of Marimekko in the whole world.
